I kept encountering a specific audio snippet that resonated with me every time it crossed my feed. It had this inviting quality that I simply couldn’t shake off. Eventually, I realized that this very sound had to become the foundation for my project. That viral moment evolved into the atmospheric intro that sets the stage for the entire song.
Alongside this sonic discovery, I wanted to capture a very personal feeling: the sense of absolute safety I experience when I am with my girlfriend. To me, home has never been a geographic location but rather a person. My writing process reflects this emotional depth by avoiding rigid structures. I have never been someone who can neatly compose a verse or a chorus in a linear fashion because my mind doesn’t work in formulas. Instead, I rely on a process I call a brain dump. I begin with a blank page and record every unfiltered thought and raw emotion that comes to mind. This usually results in a massive wall of text that contains far more content than a single song could ever hold.
During this particular session, I focused on the feeling of being anchored by someone you love. From that initial chaos, specific lines began to surface such as “Home, a place where I can go” and “The way your arms remind me what I’m fighting for.” The real craft began after the dump was finished. I spent hours sculpting those pages of thoughts and stripping away the noise until only the lines with the most energy remained. It is much like a puzzle where I piece together fragmented emotions until they reflect my exact intent. I wanted every word to vibrate with a specific frequency of gratitude. After about three hours of refining, the lyrical blueprint was complete, and I was ready to step into the digital workshop to bring the sound of Home to life.

The prompt was a simple idea: I took the first keywords that came to my mind, put them in the “Styles” section, and watched what happenes. But i got the feeling, Suno ignored some parts of the keywords.

The process
A common misconception about AI-generated music is that it’s a simple “one-click” process where you just feed the machine a few words and call it a day. I’ve never made a secret of the fact that I use these tools because I believe transparency is vital in art. For me, honesty is the only foundation worth building on, and I want my audience to know exactly how my music comes to life.
The reality of my process is far more involved than people might think. For this track, I ran the generation process twelve or thirteen times. It wasn’t just about getting a good sound; it was about ensuring that every lyric landed exactly where it needed to be. I found myself constantly rearranging lines and moving verses to places where the emotional weight felt right. When I’m in the middle of a brain dump and writing my lyrics, I already have a specific sonic landscape in my mind. Getting the technology to actually match that internal vision requires a significant amount of trial and error.
It is a constant cycle of experimenting, adjusting, and listening until the piece finally feels whole. While it is possible to take the easy path, I believe that putting in the absolute minimum effort isn’t enough to create something meaningful. I also want to be clear that I don’t see this as a direct replacement for traditional music production. The work of a producer who spends hours crafting an instrumental from scratch, or a singer who lends their physical voice to a melody, is a much more complex and demanding journey. That level of traditional craftsmanship is incredible and deserves profound respect. My goal is simply to show that these new tools offer a different, yet deeply intentional, path for creative expression.
Finalizing the song
With the lyrics set and the core of the track generated, it was time to bring everything together in the studio. I captured the audio from TikTok—the original spark for this journey—and imported it into Cubase to serve as the song’s intro.
The real challenge was the “handover.” I didn’t want a jarring jump between the sampled audio and my AI-generated production; I wanted a sonic bridge. I spent a lot of time fine-tuning the arrangement, using precise crossfades and EQ adjustments to create a transition that is almost imperceptible. My goal was to make the two sounds bleed into each other so naturally that the listener wouldn’t even notice where the inspiration ended and my own creation began. It’s this meticulous work in the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that allows me to take raw digital outputs and turn them into a polished, cohesive piece of music.
Artwork creation
Once the track was finalized, I needed a visual that could carry the same emotional weight as the music. For me, “Home” isn’t just a sound; it’s a color and a feeling of openness. I turned to Canva’s AI image generation to bring this vision to life.
I didn’t want anything cluttered or overly digital. I was looking for something iconic and raw. My vision was a striking black silhouette standing with arms wide open, facing a glowing sun. I wanted the background to be a deep, saturated orange, the kind of warmth you feel during a perfect sunset when everything finally feels right. Even with visuals, the AI acts as my brush, but the composition and the “vibe” come from my own direction. It took several iterations to get the contrast between the silhouette and the orange glow just right, but the result perfectly captures that moment of total surrender and peace.
Publishing
With the production polished and the cover art finalized, I reached the most exciting part of the journey, which was the release. I turned to DistroKid to handle the distribution, acting as the bridge between my digital workshop and listeners across the globe.
I carefully categorized the track under the Singer Songwriter genre, as it felt like the most authentic home for a song rooted in personal lyrics and emotional storytelling. After filling in the essential details, including the release date and the credits that accurately reflected the work put into the project, I hit submit.
